| Graduate Courses(B.Sc.) as well as Diploma
Course are offered in pharmacy. Students who have completed
the 10+2 or equivalent examination, with physics, chemistry
and biology / mathematics are eligible for Diploma in Pharmacy
as also the Bachelor's degree programme (B.Pharm.) however,
admission to the B.Pharm. courses is done on the basis of
the candidate's performance in the entrance exam. |

one to two year's duration. The Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy(B.
Pham.) is of 4 years duration. The Master's course (M.Pharm.)
is of two years duration. |

| Job Prospects for Pharmacists exists
mainly in the areas of manufacturing, distribution and retailing
of drugs. A person who has completed a diploma in Pharmacy
can work in Hospital Pharmacy, Medical Stores, Sales Representatives,
Wholesale Dealers, etc. Candidates with B. Pham. Degrees can
also work as manufacturing chemists, Analytical chemists,
drug inspectors and analysts. Pharmacists can also find employment
as Custom Appraisers and work in the Bureau of Drug Price
Control as Narcotic Inspectors. |
| Moreover, a Master's Degree in Pharmacy
qualifies the candidate too work with pharmaceutical companies
as manufacturing executive, analytical executive and product
